What to Buy and what to Bin in 2017

Vogue has spoken and told us what to shop and stash this year and, it looks like most of last year's wardrobe needs storing away and you need to get yourselves out shopping.

From the shape of your shoes, the strap on your bag to the belt around your waist, the fashion that follows has been ok'ed by Vogue and FYI you do listen to the world's biggest fashion magazine!

It seems that a new era of body consciousness has begun and now its all about shedding layers, the bra that counts is the one over you're clinching ribbed knit. 
...This pieced with the previously mentioned corset belt and your all on trend! On this weekends trip to London I noticed a lot of these, try Zara, Topshop and Urban Outfitters for yours.

Buy : a pair of Kitten heels 

The heeled ballet pump is a necessity when going from A to B in style (not forgetting comfort), however it seems that there a thing of the past- kitten heels are on their way back!

Starting the new year on a diet is what most do, right? I sure did.After the Christmas festivities and running up to the New Year I kept saying "my diet starts next year" or "my new years resolution is to go on a diet and/or join the gym" but it seems just wearing sports attire does the trick and, you can do so without breaking a sweat!

Apparently the lines between convenience and style got crossed so now there's no need to worry about that hoodie you quickly threw on for comfort this morning. Pair it with a cool cap and some trainers and your trending this style without knowing it! Winning

The Corset is now a trend

So who thought the corset went under your clothes? Or was limited to the bedroom? Not anymore.

Having gained popularity in the 16th century evolving as a silhouette shaping fashion item, they've now been 'stitched back up' and have become somewhat of a fashion trend.
Before you panic and dismiss this 'uncomfortable' new street style, the look is not to restrict or reshape your figure its to, wait for it...
...Act as a belt-like tool, working perfectly to pull together your favourite layers to form one edgy new season trend. I do believe breathing is fairly important too. 

Celebrities and fashion icons such as Kim Kardashian, Gigi Hadid, Haley Baldwin and Kylie Jenner all style this outfit out like queens, I wouldn't expect anything less. 
When I first saw this look I thought "no, aren't corset's for waist training?" but now I do actually believe they finish an outfit off and add a refresher to that boring, plain t-shirt dress.

Fishnets aren't just for Halloween

For those who thought fishnets were only to add 'sex appeal' to your DIY halloween costume, think again. Over the past year they've become somewhat of a fashion statement, and have slowly integrated into part of our daily wardrobe.

Who best to bring the fishnets back than Kim K. When I first saw her Instagram post I didn't think much of it, she's forever throwing random garms together and annoyingly pulling them off, so I 'liked' her post (obviously it's Kimmy K) and continued scrolling through Instagram. A few weeks later I saw Kylie and Kendall pulling off the same style so then it was real, this was now a trend!

Golden Globes'17

So yesterday was the 74th Annual Golden Globes in Los Angeles.
Now, I don't know about you but I'm a sucker for a man in a suit and the ladies well, they scrub up well too.

I love TV & Film but my eye is always drawn towards the beauty on the red carpet. Hollywood's fashion, hair and beauty is always on point so in the nicest way possible I'd much rather spend time trawling through pictures than read up about who won what!

It goes without saying that a guy in black tie gets my vote but I have the biggest crush on both Ryan's, Gosling & Reynolds'. Last night they were by far the best catch, not to mention they're acting skills their good too!!

This years Golden Globes brought another wave of fashion euphoria and the girls didn't disappoint either, I was definitely crushin' on most!
Emma Stone, Blake Lively, Hailee Seinfeld and Emily Ratajkowski were somewhat a fashion muse each rocking different styles but still owning the carpet.

So a day in bed blogging is definitely necessary. Being a blogging virgin is hard, theres so much to add & tweek so wish me luck! 

On days like today who wants to dress up, Sunday's are about being comfy right? So, I'm slumming in my Calvin Klein set. 

All the way from Miami and for only $38 - being comfy is me, snuggling up and relaxing is what I do best, anyway Sundazzzz are for sleeping anyway aren't they?

So ending 2016 in the appropriate attire was important, I didn't want to wear the bog standard dress and heels and I didn't want to go casual so I had to get something new, obviously...

Shopping started on Missguided, I found nothing. Pretty little thing, nothing. So in the end I went for 3 items from In the Style...

Items have been lovingly worn and are in very good condition for sale at a very reasonable price. The garments shown on this website are genuine designer brands or from the top end of the high street. 

Bequeath also stocks brand new individual statement necklaces and other accessories. 

A brand new collection of exclusive Anna Roberts dresses have also arrived into the boutique. All garments are handmade and manufactured in Sheffield, by Anna herself- a Sheffield based designer.

About Me

So a little about me? I'm 22 and live in Sheffield, England. I studied Fashion at college and now own a fashion boutique selling new and preloved clothing. 
I've had the business for 3 years, starting online @ www.bequeathclothing.co.uk then opened my own boutique in March 2014. 
Even though the business is my life I now feel its time to explore fashion further, and flee the nest by moving and studying down in London, oh and starting my own blog!

Why now? I've always wanted my own blog but have never had the time or patience to start one. So since we've just begun the year 2017 I thought I'd grab the bull by the horns and GO FOR IT!! I'm also a self confessed shopaholic so this should be fun....

For those wondering where I decided on the name for my blog 'Which Clothes Today' its obvious isn't it? What do you go to bed or wake up thinking? For me it's....

"What shall I wear today" or "what am I going to wear" so, I think the name is pretty apt, everyone beit boy or girl has to make the hard decision deciding Which Clothes Today. 

Anyway enough about me, enjoy reading my blog.
