Vogue has spoken and told us what to shop and stash this year and, it looks like most of last year's wardrobe needs storing away and you need to get yourselves out shopping.
From the shape of your shoes, the strap on your bag to the belt around your waist, the fashion that follows has been ok'ed by Vogue and FYI you do listen to the world's biggest fashion magazine!
Lets begin...
Bin : The Polo neck
Buy : The bra top
It seems that a new era of body consciousness has begun and now its all about shedding layers, the bra that counts is the one over you're clinching ribbed knit.
...This pieced with the previously mentioned corset belt and your all on trend! On this weekends trip to London I noticed a lot of these, try Zara, Topshop and Urban Outfitters for yours.
Bin : The glove shoe
Buy : a pair of Kitten heels
The heeled ballet pump is a necessity when going from A to B in style (not forgetting comfort), however it seems that there a thing of the past- kitten heels are on their way back!
Bin : The 'not so hands free' clutch
Now I totally agree with this one, the clutch is just awkward! On a night out with the girls trying to dance with a clutch and a drink is virtually impossible, not to mention the feeling that strikes after two hours of carrying the bleeder - ANNOYING!
Buy: Guitar strap shoulder bag
Sensible and easy to wear, this baby will do you proud on any day or night out.
Bin: The flight jacket
Having said this, the bomber will always be a handy coat to have, slip it on last minute and you'll still look casual but on trend.
Buy: The 'working girl' blazer
This weekend I styled this look (pictures to follow). I wore an oversized eighties style blazer. It was great because I could wear it day and night without feeling under or over dressed.
Feeling lazy? Wear it with a standard tee, or jazz it up at night with an evening dress or trousers.
Bin: Chokers
Buy: Super Sized earrings and brooches
I love to accessorise with a choker so unfortunately I'll not be taking Vogues advise in binning mine, however I will follow the new trend set by Alexander McQueen. Big earrings and brooches seem a thing of the past but not for long, keep a look out and buy one when you see one!
Coming soon to Spring/Summer'17
